A nice harvest 2025

Fermentation is complete, and the vintage looks promising. We began harvesting in late August—two weeks earlier than last year—yielding a crop with excellent ripeness for several reasons. First, the spring was very hot and dry. The grapes were small and lacked water until mid-July; however, good rains in late July caused them to swell and ripen. Next, the vines were resting; there were fewer grapes per vine this year. Vines do need to rest from time to time. Finally, a beautiful, sunny August ensured the grapes reached full maturity and optimal sugar levels.
